Laura Mancini
Percussionist dedicated to experimental music, specializing in chamber and solo repertoire, she trained at the Conservatory of Music of Perugia and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. In parallel with his musical studies he graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Perugia.

He is a member of the Tetraktis Percussioni ensemble, a quartet with a thirty-year history, a reference for Italian percussion, with which he carries out artistic and dissemination activities (recordings for DECCA and Brilliant Classics).

In 2015 she founded the Ensemble Suono Giallo, a group dedicated to new music with which she collaborates with composers such as Francesco Filidei, Raphael Cendo, Simone Movio, Nicolas Tzorzis, Georgia Spiropoulos, Frank Bedrossian, Yan Maresz, C.E.Cella, E. Sample. Since 2019 he has been a member of Opificio Sonoro, a collective of musicians united by cultural curiosity and passion for experimenting with innovative programs under the artistic direction of Marco Momi. The meeting in 2017 with Maestro Salvatore Sciarrino with whom she carries on a partnership that makes her a reference interpreter for his music was fundamental.

Her research into sound and new languages ​​has led her to important collaborations: Stefano Scodanibbio, Butch Morris, Alessandro Carbonare, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Jonathan Williams, Edison Studio, Alessio Allegrini, Enrico Baiano. Dedicated to the diffusion of new music, she performs with these groups in some of the most prestigious European festivals and concert seasons, including Musica D'Hoy (Auditorio Nacional in Madrid), Imago Dei (Krems – Vienna), AngelicA (Bologna), Società del Quartet (Sala Verdi – Milan), Rassegna di Nuova Musica (Macerata), Milano Musica, Cantiere Internazionale D'Arte (Montepulciano), Musiikkitalo (Helsinki), NYCEMF (Brooklyn, New York City), Meng Minwei Concert Hall (Beijing), Ravenna Festival, Ravello Festival, Stresa Festival, Festival Mantica (Cesena), Società dei Concerti Barattelli (Auditorium del Parco L'Aquila), Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti (Naples), Sagra Musicale Umbra, Festival dei 2 Mondi Spoleto, Festival delle Nazioni (City di Castello), The Quirinale Concerts, Mixtur Festival (Barcelona).
