Leonardo Ramadori
Born in Foligno (PG) on 16 October 1968.
He lives and studies in Perugia, first obtaining a classical high school diploma and then a diploma in "Percussion Instruments" at the "Francesco Morlacchi" State Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Tomassetti with a score of 10/10 (1995).

During and after his studies at the Conservatory he followed specialization courses with various masters including G. Mortensen, D. Friedmann, D. Humair, R. Schulkowsky, R. Van Sice, J. Faber.

After sporadic experiences in the world of classical music, in 1992, following auditions in which he was found suitable, he began to collaborate constantly with various Italian orchestras in the role of percussionist including the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo “Vincenzo Bellini” of Catania, the Orchestra of the San Carlo Theater of Naples, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra (Tour in South America 1999 and other contracts), the Orchestra of the La Fenice Theater of Venice, the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, the Philharmonic Orchestra della Scala (Tour in Japan 1997, Mozart Festival of Salzburg, Musicverheim of Vienna, Lugano and other contracts), the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, the Orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Human Rights Orchestra (Lucerna KKl and other concerts ), Perugia Chamber Orchestra.

He worked, among others, under the direction of the Masters Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Chailly, Daniel Oren, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Mitislav Rostropovic, Marco Angius, Elihau Imball, Antonio Pappano, Alexander Lonquich.

He has collaborated with various chamber music ensembles including Artisanat Furieux Ensamble, Hyperprism Percussioni, Musica Novecento Ensemble, Kaleido Ensamble, Soqquadro Italiano. But it is with Tetraktis Percussioni, of which he is the founder together with other Umbrian percussionists, that he has carried out most of his chamber music activity, performing in Italy, Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Nigeria and the United States of America, obtaining excellent feedback from the public and criticism. Together with the Tetraktis group he has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists such as Stefano "Cocco" Cantini, Alessandro Carbonare, Alessio Allegrini, Jonathan Williams, Cristina Zavalloni, Enrico Baiano.

It boasts several collaborations that range between various musical genres (jazz, ethnic, pop, contemporary): Jovanotti, Xavier Girotto, Luciano Biondini, Gabriele Mirabassi, Andrea Dessì, Massimo Tagliata, Mietta, Alessandro Altarocca, Silvia Donati, Krama Ensemble, DJ Ralf, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Marco Pierobon, Andrea Conti. He has collaborated assiduously with various theater companies and festivals as a stage percussionist or as an author of stage music or soundtracks (Chartago Teatro, Fontemaggiore, Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria, Segni Particolari, Spoleto Festival) under the guidance of directors such as Medi Kraiem, Gigi Dall'Aglio, Giampiero Frondini, Mario Martone.

Since 2003 he has collaborated as coordinator of the "Musica per Crescere" project together with the oboist Simone Frondini with the Perugia Musica Classica Foundation: the project deals with creating, realizing and disseminating concerts, concert lessons and musical shows for children and teenagers.

In orchestral or chamber ensembles he has attended various festivals and events including the Musikfestspiele of Potsdam (D), Musica Verticale of Rome, Demiourgos of Turin, Rencontres Musicales d'Evian (F), Ravenna Festival, Musicverheim of Vienna (A), Mozart Festival of Salzburg, Lingotto Musica, Friends of Music of Florence, Friends of Music of Palermo, Friends of Music of Perugia, Spoleto Festival, Ferrara Musica, Ravello Festival, Society of the Milan Quartet and many others..

He has published four books of rhythmic exercises for groups dedicated to learning rhythmic writing and the practice of ensemble music for Margiacchi Edizioni Musicali (“Il Corpo Sonoro”, “Ta-Pa-Ciaf-Bum”, “Tre Filastrocche” , “Music Without Instruments”).

He taught “Percussion Instruments” at the “G. Tartini” of Trieste and at the “Umberto Giordano” Conservatory of Foggia and at the “Umberto Giordano” Conservatory of Foggia – Rodi Garganico Section. He is currently a teacher of the Percussion Instruments class at the “Gioachino Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro.

He has participated in several national radio broadcasts live and deferred (Radio Tre Suite, La stanza della Musica, Radio Tre in Festival da Cervia, Materadio).
He has recorded for RAI, Mediaset, PH Musicworx, Fonit Cetra, Label Bleu, Universal, Decca, Brillant Classic.
